Pirates lose 17th road game in a row..
That marked loss No. 17 in a road row for the Pirates, their most since the 1985 club lost 19 consecutive.

It also gave them a 2-11 record in interleague play, their worst in the invention's 14 years, and a sixth consecutive loss, and second straight sweep, this road trip.

They are 4-19 in June, guaranteeing them of their worst such month since 1891.

How pathetic. I wouldn't want to be a Pirates fan. They are now on their way to their 18 consecutive losing season. They are nothing more than a farm team. This franchise needs a new owner. Why don't the people of the Pittsburgh area demand a winner?

2. 56 years in ONE city, and yet the Frisco Giants have NEVER brought
home a championship for their city.

HOW PATHETIC!

Every year crying that you could not win the championship. 56 CONSECUTIVE YEARS!

Imagine trying to cheating your way to the championships with a KNOWN cheater.

:wow:

3. That has nothing to do with it..
at least the Giants contend virtually every year...making things enjoyable for their fans. When's the last time the Pirates were in a playoff race?

17 consecutive losing seasons, 17 consecutive road losses, a record of 25-50. Face it, there's really no excuse for ineptitude of that magnitude..

4. It has everything to do with it...
56 years with no Championship--- what is the excuse for that? You sit on your high horse but have nothing to show for it.

And that is the very definition of a Douche.

6. I would again like to thank the Pirates for their help
in giving us Nyjer Morgan. LOVE HIM. He's one of the players that have made the Nats a substantially better team this year...When he's on they win, when he's not.....Anyway, I think thats what would infuriate me as a Pirates fan...anytime someone shows real talent, they trade them away...
