Argentina-Mexico
Edited on Sun Jun-27-10 12:02 PM by Renew Deal
This is a rematch of one of the best Round of 16 matches of 2006. Argentina won that one 2-1. Argentina has been near perfect in the this World Cup so far. Mexico was exposed by Uruguay. They are the last hope for CONCACAF. Can Argentina continue their Maradona led brilliance or will Mexico get revenge?

6. That "goal" is a crime!
He was offside by a mile. Fucking disgraceful!

7. Indeed.
It's also the type of play where the offsides rule as written shows itself to be obsolete.

11. Did anyone see Heize punch the camera?
He turned around after celebrating one of the goals and slammed face first into a camera. Then he punched the camera or cameraman. lol

12. Mexico has lost all their composure.
Okay, it was a bad call. But this isn't the first time they've resorted to thuggery after things don't go their way. In fact, you can count on it.

14. Not talking about Heinze, Renew.
I'm talking about the Mexican team. Turn into schoolyard bullies when they fall behind. Always have.

15. OK.
I thought I confused the issue. The Mexicans did get aggressive near the tunnel. I was referring to a prior incident. Hopefully Mexico can keep it together.

17. I would have slapped it too.
I wouldn't be writing Argentina into the final, just yet. That goalie is suspect. I have a feeling the Germans are going to make him pay dearly.

19. I would have slapped it, as well.
And, yeah, Argentina will be tested, big time, by the Germans. Uh, depending on which German team shows up.
