3. 1) East Rowan Mustangs, 2) Any team that Mike O'Koren played for . . .
3) Any team that John Edwards played college football for.
4) East Carolina Pirates. You've got no business being named the Pirates when you're 100 miles from the ocean.
5) Pittsburgh Pirates. See above.

6. Is it that time of year again?
1. Boston Red Sox -- totally agree with Yavin4

2. Denver Broncos. Every set back for them is a major victory for me.

3: The Baltimore Ravens. The day will come when the Cleveland Browns will regularly pummel them -- and everything will be right with the world.

4: Dallas Cowboys (they're not higher because I dig the cheerleaders, the best anywhere).

5: Basically, anything else New England, pro level.

Other notables: New York Yankees, Minnesota Vikings, L.A. Dodgers, Colorado Rockies, Chicago White Sox. Just because I can.

As an Alabama fan, I hate Tennessee and Auburn.

As a human being, I hate the Cowboys. Plus, that's sort of left over from when I used to be a Redskins fan.

3. Caro-lah-na Hurricanes (guess where I moved to from B-town?? :grr: :banghead: )
4. Puke basketball (see above)
5. Notre Dame anything (like the Cowpies, just on general principles)

Dishonorable mention to the Chicago Blacksouls, who climbed out of their decades-long slumber just in time to ruin my return to an NHL city.

12. Top 5:
Edited on Fri Jun-11-10 07:20 PM by nickgutierrez
1. New York Jets
2. Boston Red Sox
3. New England Patriots
4. Florida State football
5. Boston Celtics - used to be the Knicks, since I grew up in the days of Jeff Van Gundy hanging on to Zo's leg for his dear life, but they're so comically horrible now that they're impossible to hate. My disgust for the Boston sports fan puts the Celts in the #5 spot now

EDIT - actually, I've just thought of some more, so let's stretch this out to 10:

6. Mexico national team soccer
7. Dallas Cowboys
8. New York Mets
9. Chelsea
10. Notre Dame

Although admittedly it's somewhat pointless to hate a program that lacks a single undefeated untied football season in its history.

The 1972 Dolphins continue to dominate American sports.

5. Michigan Wolverines. For being full of themselves for thirty years. Screw blue. Ohio State Buckeyes: dishonorable mention, same reason.

Then there's the Chicago Cubs. OK, I don't hate them. I pity them. I pity their fans, most especially my wife and daughter.

That's why I have ahard time respecting them. They don't give a crap about winning, just sit back and seem resigned to the team sucking ass, as if that's some kind of achievement.

That's a little tough to limit it by sport though:

1) College Football - Notre Dame, USC, FSU, Miami

2) NBA - Lakers & NY Knicks

3) NFL - Dallas, Oakland, Washington, Philadelphia

4) College BB - Duke, Kentucky, Indiana, Memphis

There is enough there that should piss just about any one of you off. :)

Tennessee V**s. I hate them so much I consider V**s to be another 4 letter word.

Georgia Tech. They suck. They're nerds. They lie and cheat. Just a complete set of acne-ridden pencil-necked bastards.

Florida Gators. In short: FU, UF.

Auburn. I have a grudging respect for Auburn as they've ruined entirely too many seasons for the Dawgs.

Miami. "Da U." Assholes. I hate everything about them. If it wasn't for SEC rivalries and GT, they'd be a clear #1.

Honorable mention: U of Washington. Quit calling yourselves "Dawgs." You don't have the drawl for it, and huskies just aren't a breed of dog that qualifies as a good ole porch dawg. Just go back to "huskies." If it's good enough for UConn, it's good enough for you.

57. I hate:
1.) The New York Yankees. With every fiber of my being from birth. The end.

2.) The Boston Bruins. I grew up a Whalers fan and am now a Canes fan. I used to daydream about Ulf Samuelson breaking Ray Bourque in half with a massive check when I was in 4th grade and Ron Francis rendering Andy Moog unconscious with a game-winning slap shot goal in the closing seconds of the Adams Division finals.

3.) The Washington Capitals. I live in DC now. The Caps are our rivals and I think Ted Leonsis is a prick and Alex Ovechkin is a whining baby who can't keep his hooking f*cking stick to himself. I spent weeks after the season hoping Erik Gudbranson would fall to us in the 2010 NHL Draft just so I could watch Ovie get mauled by a human wrecking-ball on skates 6 games a year.

4.) UConn Men's Basketball. I root for them to lose every game they play.

5.) Hendricks Motorsports. I am not a NASCAR person but the entire rest of my family is.
