Phil Jackson just got his ref-baiting NBA fine allowance today.
07:17 AM ET 06.01 | A new series, a new tip from Phil Jackson on what officials should watch. In a question related to the teams' toughness, Jackson acknowledged the contrast between the Lakers' and Celtics' physical makeups, saying, "We don't have a smackdown mentality." He then riffed on Boston forward Kevin Garnett for what Jackson perceived as playing a little too rough against Orlando center Dwight Howard in the Celtics' six-game East finals victory over the Magic. "He was smacking Howard's arm and finally he was called for an offensive foul," Jackson said of Garnett. "That's not our team. We don't go out there and smack people around."

2. No, they just break peoples' noses
I watched the end of the Lakers-Suns game on Saturday night, and the Lakers are one of the most unsportsmanlike teams I've ever seen. Kobe should be suspended a game for that helicopter type thing he was doing near the end of the game. Taunting and really, really poor sportsmanship.

I hope Boston kicks their ass and at least one Laker ends up with a broken nose.

4. The Lakers are as dirty as the best of them...and their schtick is that
they are above all that...they make me sick. If Boston hadn't made it, I would have been cheering for Orlando, or Cleveland, or Miami, or anyone but these dumbass thugs.

5. I didn't see that
and I'm a Suns fan that rooted hard for them (no team that I root for as won a championship while I've been alive) and I thought overall it was a clean series. It got rough at times but that's basketball, the hit by Fisher where Nash broke his nose looked really unintentional. I also didn't see hardly at all taunting or poor sportsmanship. There was celebrating but the Suns were doing that too at times.
