2. And if anyone wondered where the soccer pitch went..




The pitch is lowered and taken out underneath the stadium by hydraulics. That way they are able to use natural grass and give it all the light and water it needs between games.

6. It's absolutely brilliant
i firmly believe that football (soccer) should be played on a natural pitch. It's part of the great heritage of the gamem, but with more and more pressure to exploit arenas commercially, it's only a matter of time before most stadiums has plastic grass. Even if it looks natural it still sucks in my opinion. FC Schalke 04 are showing the way :)

11. Seems worth the bucks in the long run.
Which of course goes against American thinking. Hell, even saying "the long run" gets me branded as a socialist these days. :)
