Oriole Magic is back!
15-7 for the month of April, I think this is real!
:bounce:
I just got the feeling that something wondeful is gonna happen.

2. That's 16-7 for April for the Os, and they're 14-4 against the AL East.
If you're an Orioles fan (and I know you are JohnKleeb) I'd say something wonderful IS HAPPENING for the Os.

Whether or not it will last all season---who knows?

But, for right now, I say enjoy the ride, Baltimore is tearing up the Division. :)

3. I'm happy for them!!!
It's refreshing to finally see someone else besides the Sox and Yankees on top of the AL East.

4. Ditto.
If my Jays can't challenge the Bosox and Yankmes for the whole season, I'd certainly like to see the O's do it.

6. Only caught about 2 minutes of it before my 3 year old started...
demanding we watch a different sport on TV. ("Basketball! Hockey! Basketball! Hockey! Basketball! Hockey!" etc.) I was happy to see from the boxscore that Chacin had yet another solid outing, Vernon Wells brought his batting average above .200, and that the bullpen didn't throw the game away. Chacin's having a great year. So far he's putting up much better numbers than say Mike Mussina and getting paid about 50 times less to do it.

'Tis also cool to see the O's and Jays are now sitting 1st and 2nd respectively in the AL East.

8. Your 3 year old sounds like me!
"I want Hockey, I want Hockey!" It's not working, though. :(

Congrats to the O's! They're on fire right now!

7. Nice to see
I remember the whole Orioles Magic thing from when I was a kid. Mike Devereax hitting another big home run. It looks like they finally put together a good mix of talent. But I've seen a few good Phillies first halves go south, so I'm cautious here. :hi:

10. I worry that their pitching will be figured out
Some of it is it new to the opposition. We'll see if they make good moves around the All-Star break. That's often a turning point.

12. Ok, thanks - it seemed like there were new names
We have to hope then that they are all having great seasons. That makes me worry in another way. :-)

14. One final thought
I think the Os will have a better record than the Yankees, and if they do come down to earth a little later, they still should make the playoffs. I'm thinking of giving up on the Phillies and just following the Orioles.

Have a nice night. :hi:

I hope so.
