1. Vernon Davis and Patrick Willis had an excellent season
Edited on Mon Feb-08-10 05:00 PM by JonLP24
49ers have the tools and 2 first round picks to make the playoffs next year. :)

Edit/You don't have to give me a heart, I just felt like saying something nice about the Niners. :)

25. The 49ers and Cardinals are developing a nice little rivalry...
here's to many years of exciting football.

27. I agree

Which makes it tough because I liked the 49ers growing up and I still do which makes it very tough to root against them when they are playing teams other than the Cardinals when AZ joined SF in realignment. It was much easier when the Cardinals were in the NFC East because, well they weren't in the same division. I didn't care at all for the Cowboys, Redskins, Giants, and Eagles when the Cards were in the NFC East and I still don't but I have grown to like the Eagles since AZ was in the NFC West.

Anyways since joining the NFC West Arizona hasn't had a clear cut rival and it's starting to appear it's going to be the 49ers because of the tough, close, exciting games the last 3 years.

3. The Dallas Cowboys really turned their season around...
...they started poorly and then ended up winning their division. Tony Romo showed he could win a play-off game and they had that excellant win against the future SB Champs, the Saints.

24. Hey Joey...
Hats off to Theo Epstein for fielding a team that keeps the Yankees in check -- tough job when you're outspent by $80 million.

33. I'll echo what Joeybee said about the Cowboys
They had a great season. Fans should be looking forward to 2010.

Someday the 49ers and the Cowboys will play another meaningful game.

6. The Saints Defense played much better than I thought
After they way the Skins tore them up earlier this year, I really thought they wouldn't go far in the playoffs..No need to give me a heart..I'm just doing a mea culpa like Michael Wilbon did today...

22. I'm a Steelers fan
but have to give it up for the Saints! They played a great game, didn't give up when they were down, and that onside kick was phenomenal! I like a close game where the lead changes every so often, especially when there's a little trickery involved. CONGRATULATIONS, SAINTS!!!

P.S.
Hearts are gone and that's OK. Just had to commend the Saints on their performance. Here's hoping our Olympians perform as well!!

23. The Dallas Cowboys are a great team and they have a nice stadium...
That 'Merica can be proud of.
Wade is a wonderful coach, and Jerry Jones does NOT look like that "Waylon and Madame" puppet that ventriloquist guy had on TV long ago.
Nate Newton was ahead of his time, and just delivering 250lbs of medicinal weed to those in need.

The Cowboys are the crown jewel of the NFL.

The Dolphins have a nice 1-2 punch in Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. Hopefully they can keep them together!
