When you drone on about nothing continuously for two consecutive hours, you're bound to make at least one factually incorrect statement.
That was a good shot by Brady Morningstar because it went through the hoop. You know, he had his feet set and was squared up which helped the ball go through the hoop. When the ball goes through the hoop it's worth two points, unless you're standing behind the three point line in which case it's worth three points. You know, thoughout this game we've seen both teams make shots worth both two and three points. The Jayhawks however have made more baskets than the Tigers which is reflected by the fact they have a lot more points than the Tigers. You know, that's the mathematics behind the Jayhawks' lead. They've scored a lot more points than the Tigers which gives them the lead. If they can hang onto this lead when the clock expires, then they'll win the game. That's what Self is trying to get his team to do: win the game. To his credit, Coach Anderson is trying to get his Tigers to do also. It's just that his team hasn't scored as many points as the Jayhawks, so right now they're not winning. Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah.
Also, unless I missed it neither he nor Brent Musberger have speculated about whether Brett Favre will play next year which is surprising since that the favorite subject of discussion for anyone getting a paycheck from ESPN.
