Any Other Cornhusker Fans Here?

Anyone? I hope I am not alone :)

I will always admire Tom Osborne as a football coach and I think he is a decent guy but his voting record as a congressman has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will never see him in the same light again. I hate the current administration in Lincoln from the AD on down but I support the kids. I will always support the players like any fan should do especially a fan of "amature" athletics (yes I know the use of Amature in the case of major college sports is a reach.)

One thing is for sure I am not sure I can take another 5-6 season. :o

My family went to the spring game Saturday and said Zac Taylor looked really good. I have a feeling he's going to be a lot better than Dailey.

(I, of course, have to bust out lame Millard Fillmore and A.C. Slater references to his name.)

I went to the spring game 2 years ago and it was rainy and cold. I went last year and it was almost 90! This year I stay home and of course it's nearly perfect. :)

I think Joe D showed supreme class coming back this spring to compete for a job he had to know he probably wasn't going to win. I understand his frustration after the game too. I found his Billy C comment quite surprising though, it seemed out of charactor for Joe. it sounded like Zac Taylor was really on fire but you can't get too excited. That was a glorified touch football game yesterday with no blitzes and no hitting the QB. but I must say I am more optomistic now then I was :D

4. Husker fan since birth.

My brother came to Lincoln from Colorado for the game over the weekend, that was cool.
I have to agree with just about everything you said. I hated the way Frank was treated. If any other football season of my life had turned out the way last years did I would have been devastated. But there was an evil part of me that wanted to yell "Good thing you got rid of Frank". I did feel bad for the kids though.
