John Daly joined the show to talk about Tiger Woods and more.
Dan asked Daly his reaction when the Tiger story unfolded.
"A little shock," Daly said. "I never dreamed that was going on."
Still, Daly maintains that this story has nothing to do with Tiger as a golfer. "It's none of my business," Daly said.
Daly thinks fans should not get hung up on the scandal. "Respect him for his ability, what he can do with a golf ball and
worry about what he does in his personal life," Daly said. "Because he's not the only one that's done that in this world. Everybody thinks Tiger Woods is the only one that's done that? Women have done it. Men have done it. It happens."
And Daly, who has been in his own fair share of trouble, thinks Tiger needs to get back on the course as soon as he can. "He screwed up. Just face it and move on," Daly said. "He's got a great coach. A great agent. The greatest caddie. ... Just start practicing and play golf. the sooner he comes and plays golf and wins, the better off."
Daly is amazed that Tiger had all this going on and still won 14 majors. "The amazing thing is doing all this and he still won 14 majors?" Daly said. "What's he going to do when he gets it all right? We're in for a killing from this guy."
On a personal note, Daly said he's down to 182. He used to be 298. He basically was in L.A. and leaned down to tie his shoe and was out of breath, so he got the Lap-Band surgery. Daly said he has a lot more energy and stamina and thinks eventually it will make his game better.
