January 2, 1994-Meadowlands

Emmitt Smith finished with 229 yards that day. Dallas would win in overtime and go on their second Super Bowl in a row.

It's true. If you're a Cowboys fan, all you got are memories.

Dallas-Giants aside, the real talent in the NFC, is Minnesota and New Orleans, for now.

This Monday Night should settle just how good the Saints are and the NFC itself.

Predictions for next week: Saints in a shootout and a crushing win for Dallas at the Meadowlands (the Giants look that weak).

from BTB (for fans only):
"Everybody is aware of this fact, no? Broncos 26, Giants 6. Dallas gets ten days off but so do the Giants. The last time Dallas faced a desperate team on the road we got the Lambeau Letdown. The game will be Dallas' last in Giants Stadium. Let's hope for a memorable result. A happy memory."

1. Perhaps the gutsiest performance in NFL history
Smith earned the MVP on that day. An amazing feat.

Was at the NFC championship game several weeks later when Dallas destroyed the 69ers. A brilliant day...

2. 7-6 over third and fourth string Redskins
I wouldn't take the Giants for granted. I can easily see them beating Dallas
