And I don't even care about that. We do have freedom of speech here, right?

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

1. No big deal, El.
Except it's exactly what's wrong with this country. Just absolute pure bullshit. Motherfucking religious fucks are turning this country into a joke. Oh, wait. It's been going on for a coupla' centuries. Praise Jesus! Fuck off.

2. Meh....
I would not have much of a problem with this sort of thing, if Tebow preached a Chrisitianity that bore something more than a faint resemblance to what I learned in Sunday school.

3. The University of Florida is supported by state and federal taxpayer dollars
And we have a separation of church and state in this country. Not to mention, those aren't part of the uniform.

When a Michigan player wrote JESUS in huge letters on the tape on his upper arms I complained to the AD, using this very argument, and I got a nice response; he agreed with me, referred my e-mail to the coach, and that was never seen again -- on that or any other state.

I'm not anti-religion, in fact I'm a churchgoer myself, but I strongly support the separation of church and state.

8. Doesn't bother me
But I'd love to see what the folks who eat this up would say to a Muslim player doing something similar... bet we'd see a lot less support for free speech and freedom of religion then!
