My prediction for the BIG game: Wellesley over Needham

Always played on Thanksgiving Day in Massachusetts, this is the oldest schoolboy football rivalry in the nation, been going on since 1882.

The record so far: Wellesley, 58 wins; Needham, 54 wins. Ties 9

Ye Olde Spirale Hawke once played for the legendary Red Raiders Vs. the Rockets, though the year is so far back I am embarassed to mention it.

6. As fate would have it, I played on the CM freshman team one year as well

but got tossed out of CM for - ahem -- rebelling one day when one of the Christian Brothers of Ireland was getting a wee bit too enthusiastic with the leather strap. A lad can only take so much strapping before, ahem, asserting himself. Screw those brutal, repressed goons (though there were some good Brothers)...so I got canned at CM, and wound up a Red Raider...
