There is a potentially entertaining boxing card on Saturday night. One of my friends will be working the corners of the two "hometown" fighters. I'll write a OP about it soon, but want to remind DUers that Thanksgiving traditions should include football, boxing, and listening to Arlo.

10. I gave up Catholicism one year for Lent....

..and never returned. Anyway, H. A day for some touch football with the nephews and a big feast.

12. My football-

playing nephews are all between 6'3 and 6'5', and 220 to 280 lbs. It would be unfair of their favorite uncle to take advantage of their inability to catch up to me .... at least in the ability to put away platefuls of food today.

My experiences with the CC are overwhelmingly negative.

And to our fellow forumites down here. It's getting so this is the only forum left on DU that holds my interest anymore. If it wasn't for H20Man's posts in GD the place would be nearly devoid of intelligence. And while the rest of us may not be the sharpest tacks in the box, at least we're funny and like football. ;)

I get sick of everything Palin. God what a snore. And oh how Obama disappoints. A couple predictions since this is the sports forum.
Palin's 15 minutes last another year or so. Then her severe lack of intelligence will rear it's ugly head...again. Obama gets the major mo when the Health Care bill passes and things get rolling. Sorry for the political rant. Like Fork, I can't handle the everyday GD. Okay. Back to sports.

And everyone else in the Sports Forum. Lions hung in for awhile but the Pack was too much for them. Oh well...Michigan basketball won and the briefcase drill team was back in the Detroit parade so all was not lost.
