Michigan State football player who almost killed a hockey player kicked off team

Winston should never have been on the team this year at all - he cold cocked a hockey player last summer and broke his skull. He was jailed, but let out early because of prison overcrowding, and, despite an open letter from the hockey player asking that he not be back on the team, was reinstated anyway. Now he goes and busts up people in a dorm. I didn't post during the Michigan/Michigan State game that Winston should have been off the team because it would have sounded like sour grapes, but he should have been kicked out.

Somehow the fact that he did this in a dorm makes it seem worse, though of course, he attacked the hockey player in the guy's own yard. What a POS.

This actually sounds a lot like the hockey incident. One person somehow got into an argument, and came back with the whole team to settle the score.

He may have been... but authorities haven't confirmed it yet.

But since it was almost exactly the same as the hockey player incident (rounding up team members to redress some perceived insult or another) and since he and Jenrette were kicked off the team, I think people are quickly drawing their conclusions.

What's with all this score settling anyway? What really could have gone on at the Small Planet to cause this?

BTW, the Small Planet seems to have changed a lot because I remember it as a small, kind of whole foods organic place.

Seriously, a pot bust would get someone off a team, but thugs like Wintson deserve the benefit of the doubt???? Good riddance to bad rubbish.
