VIDEO: Football's world ruling body FIFA has officially turned down a request from the Irish to stage a replay of their controversial World Cup playoff defeat to France. Duration: 1:31.

France captain Thierry Henry said "the fairest solution" to the row over his handball in the World Cup playoff against Ireland would be a replay, but FIFA rejected an Irish call for a re-match.

I was devastated when it happened, but I agree with Roy.
