NFL Week 11 picks (with point spreads)
Opening spreads had San Diego as 3 point favorites, but as of Friday morning the spread had become "Off". We'll leave it as even to make it easier on ourselves. As previously discussed, Turkey games for Week 12 will not count. Week 12 picks will be posted Friday AM. Happy Thanksgiving in advance.

And as always, it's just for fun. Good luck.

1. Condem (73-68) .518 (1-10)
2. Forkboy (73-67) .521 (1-10)*
3. JonLP24 (73-67) .521 (1-10)**
4. Auggie (70-71) .496 (1-10)
5. brendan120678 (54-57) .486 (2,3,4,6-10)
6. madinmaryland (39-43) .476 (2,5,6,7,9,10)

BOSSHOG (10-6) WEEK 1
Bill McBlueState (26-18) 3-5
givemebackmycountry (6-6) WEEK 7
many a good man (18-21) 8-10

**Forkboy is #1 based on pct but both me(Seattle/St Louis) and Forkboy(Tenn/Pitt) did not make a pick in week 1 so since Condem did, he gets first place.

Rough week hurt as all. Only 3 above .500. Half of 10 qualifies for a percentage, after week 11 half will be 5 so joey if you decide to sit out you'll still have a pct and those below the line keep making picks and soon enough you'll qualify. By math those with 1 week of picks probably need not to miss a week from here on out.

5. Thank you
Without you posting the results after the Monday Night game this would be much harder.

Not sure what you mean by sinking feeling. You were 67-61 but went 3-10 so you're now 70-71. (answering your question best I can)

17. The folks here that are picking Tampa Bay are certifiably insane.
I don't care if the point spread is 11.5 or 115, I'd still choose the Saints.

Insane, that is, unless you also chose the Patriots for victory. Then I'd say that you have your Mounds and your Almond Joy moments. Though betting on the best team in the NFL (New England) seems like a no-brainer for me anyway.

18. Josh Freeman in two starts has played pretty well
Edited on Sat Nov-21-09 02:34 PM by JonLP24
Team has played better since he has taken the reigns
W38-28 Green Bay
L25-23 @Miami

I nearly picked the under in that game, however going with New Orleans.

I also wanted to add the Rams gave the Saints a hard time last week and covered. If we picked St Louis(under) last week we would probably look like fools. About New England being the best team... we'll see in January or February.

19. I would change my pick to Tampa Bay if I could
Today's news is "Running back Reggie Bush and defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis aren't traveling with the New Orleans Saints for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers."

And "The Saints also will be without their two top cornerbacks, Jabari Greer and Tracy Porter, because of injuries, but a league source told NFL Network's Jason La Canfora that free safety Darren Sharper is expected to play. Sharper sat out last Sunday's victory over the St. Louis Rams because of a knee injury."

This smells like trouble -- at least as far as points go.

Edited on Sun Nov-22-09 11:52 AM by JonLP24
x(

Darren Sharper is expected to play. Sharper sat out last Sunday
Saints should be ok. The injuries hurt of course however Sharper is one of the biggest reasons why they are 9-0 instead of 8-8(last year's record)

if Warner goes down?

Up 21-3 with Warner, won 21-13 with Leinart. J/k happy to get the win, hope Warner is ok for next week. :scared:
