2. His nickname in many
circles is "Belicheat", and for damned good reason, too. I remember when he was the Cleveland Browns coach. Not only did he do a completely suckass job, but he was a total and complete arrogant fucking asshole, too.

Make your own call. Most things in the U.S. are corrupt now.

42. I looked at the video. That looks like a good spot from that angle.
The catch isn't made until the receiver gains possession. Then he also gets foward progress. In this case, the receiver initially bobbles the ball. That looks like a good spot. The referee knew what that spot meant. That's probably why he had his hands on his hips. He wasn't comfortable with it.

9. Up 6 with 2 min left. Goes for it on 4th and 2 on his own 30
If you get the first down you win the game, if you dont, you look like an absolute fool and give the colts 2 minutes to go 30 yards, score and go up.

They didnt get, and the Colts scored with 10 seconds left.

17. Sounds like the kind of shit judgments Belicheat
made when he was in Cleveland fifteen years ago that helped ruin the team just before that snake Modell took it to Baltimore. Not only was he a shit coach, he was a complete nasty aloof arrogant asshole as well. I still think he and Modell deliberately ruined the team the last couple of years because they knew they were going to move the team.

16. I'm sendin' a fruit basket!
It looked to me when Brady and Belicheck were chatting right before deciding to go for it that it was Brady that was pushing to go for it. Either way, it will go down as one of the worst decisions in his illustrious career.

the final decision was still Belicheat's. Of course, he was this way in Cleveland so I guess it doesn't surprise me. Never been able to tolerate the asshole.

This is one of those games where you turn it off thinking the Pats had it in the bag and then spit your Wheaties out the next morning when hearing of the defeat.

27. All I remember about that jerk was his monotone voice.
Like it was an effort to talk. No inflection, no emphasis, just a robotic cadence with a snobbish attitude, like "why should I answer *you*?"

I hated football all the more because of him.

37. Hey, how 'bout Jack Del Rio's decision to opt out of TD and go for FG?
Told Maurice Jones-Drew to knee it on the one, then burn the clock with a field goal (only needed one point). Therefore, the Jets would not get another possession.

Shrewd move, but I'll bet the fantasy players who have Jones-Drew are pissed, though he did apologize to them.

1 minute 50. If they had punted it the colts would have likely been near midfield with 10 seconds left.

It be one thing if they were up points. Instead they were trailing. I wouldnt want to take the chance of having the field goal blocked. Id rather get the surefire points

46. Nope. You're leaving the Jets with almost 2 minutes left to play
Edited on Mon Nov-16-09 11:08 AM by JonLP24
and they still have to go for 2(which are successful less than 50% of the time) to take a 7 point lead, if fail then the Jets just need a TD and an XP to win. Also field goal attempts from inside the 5 are nearly 100% successful, about 98% or 99% so MJD greatly improved his team's chance of winning y that decision.

Basically the Jaguars have a greater chance of failing the two pointer, the Jets driving down the field to score a winning TD then the Jaguars of missing a chip shot.
