Quinn back at QB for Browns against Ravens
BEREA, Ohio (AP)—Brady Quinn(notes) is getting his second chance at starting.

Quinn, benched just 10 quarters into the season for Derek Anderson(notes), will start Monday night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. He was pulled at halftime of the Browns’ 34-3 loss to Baltimore on Sept. 27, and will make his return against one of the NFL’s toughest defenses.

“I’m excited to play,” Quinn said. “I’m excited to be a part of Monday night. Every team in the NFL is tough, them especially. We’ve got our hands full right now.”

Browns coach Eric Mangini has decided to go back to Quinn after Anderson went 1-4 as a starter and posted the NFL’s lowest quarterback rating (36.2). Mangini said he would like to stick with Quinn for the remainder of the season.

Quinn went 6 of 8 for 34 yards with one interception before being pulled in Week 3 for Anderson, who completed only 43 percent of his passes, threw two TDs and nine interceptions in the past five games.

You know, Andersen stunk it up for 2 years, Quinn stunk it up for 3 games and they pull him. Whether Quinn will ever be good only time will tell, but unless he gets a chance, we'll never know. Makes me think they were trying to save money so he wouldn't get the bonus if he got 70% of the snaps. What a sorry-ass organization.

5. In 2007 Anderson's rating was 82.5...
Not great, but not in the toilet either. He threw 29 TDs with 19 INTs. The Browns finished 10-6 that year and almost made the playoffs. Anderson has shown he can play.

So how does he digress to a rating of 36.2? It's not just the QB. It's like the entire approach and/or coaching philosophy is fucked-up beyond imagination -- and under two different coaching staffs, no less.

Boggles the mind.

8. Yeah, but he really fell flat the last couple games that year...
...that's why they didn't get in...they just needed to win one of their two final games, he couldn't do it.
