Can Zenyatta beat the boys?

What are your thoughts about Zenyatta's chances in the BC classic today?

I think she has her work cut out for her because this is a bigger, tougher field than she is used to
facing and her sweeping move around the outside will find her farther out than usual as she
launches her bid.

If this was dirt, I'd like Summer Bird but not sure he is at his best on artificial surface.

1. I don't know. But Wow, Goldikova!
I'm cheering for her, Mine That Bird, and Einstein. If any of those three win, I'll be thrilled, and at the same time sorry the other two didn't, lol.

Just watched Goldikova repeat in an awesome performance.

2. She's awesome.

That little filly wants to win. She had the far outside post and got the job done anyway.

Impressive.

3. She'll make it close...
on her guts and class alone; Life is Sweet sure flattered her too. I like Rip Van Winkle to just beat Zen barely with Einstein also in my top three. Been a great Breeders' Cup so far. Thrilling win for Vale of York in the Juvenile and ...

Goldikova is freakin' AWESOME!!!

6. All I can say is
unbelievably awesome. So happy I got to see that. I thought she had no chance after the gate craziness and then breaking so dully. Amazing, amazing. Historic. Beautiful. Tear-jerking. Elating. Just perfect.

8. Oh me of little faith...

I really didn't think she could do it.

That was one of the most impressive performances in my life. Wow.

10. Zenyatta is a freak
Astonishing performance. I concede I didn't root for her last year, primarily because I like early speed. But I remember posting that she looked like a different species out there, virtually unfair.

This year I rooted hard for Zenyatta after the most fervent Rachel Alexandra fans tried to pretend Zenyatta wasn't in Rachel's league. It was laughable. I'm glad they'll now have to squirm for the HOTY vote, after somehow thinking a non-Triple Crown winner who quit in early September was a cinch.

Zenyatta is the equine equivalent of Usain Bolt.
