Female Soccer Player Throws Fist, Pulls Hair--and you know what--the opposing players had it coming

Watch the video closely.... the first clip, the BYU player elbows her in the stomach...the 2nd clip, she gets her pants yanked up.... OK---the 2nd wasn't that bad....but...

2. Ummm no. In international play she would have been thrown out

at the first offense.The other players were doing what is fairly normal in soccer..there is some physical contact. This BYU player is a thug...Hey maybe Miami of Florida should recruit her..Thats the kind of football players they like!
This THUGGERY is unacceptable in either men or women's sports.

3. It was the New Mexico player that threw the punch than later pulled her hair and threw her down

The BYU player merely threw an elbow.

5. The elbow was minor. The woman lost control and acted like a thug.

If the elbow makes it justified then every hockey player is due for a serious whooping. :)

the UNM player was WAY out of line. Plus she was purposely going after the players and not the ball.

"University of New Mexico head women's soccer coach Kit Vela announced today that junior defender Elizabeth Lambert has been suspended indefinitely for her actions in Thursday's match against BYU in the semifinals of the Mountain West Conference Championship in Provo, Utah."
