6. So what exactly does Iowa have to do to get the respect they deserve?

I've seen Lou Holtz (an Iowa alum for Christ's sake!) Kirk Herbstreit, and others dissing the Hawkeyes, saying they'd automatically lose to a Texas or Florida if by chance they'd ever make it to the title game. :eyes:
To his credit Brent Musberger was giving Iowa props during the Oregon game Saturday when Kirky was giving his top teams picks.
I just have to wonder how tough Herbstreit's Buckeyes were in 2002 when by sheer fortune they escaped having to play Iowa that year?
Mind you there are not many Iowa teams that would've overpowered OSU. The Buckeyes could have a bunch of double amputees on the field and Iowa would find a way to lose the game. But not 2002.
So even if Iowa runs the table this year will that even be good enough to get a mention as a top team? Probably not to the Big 12 or SEC fanatics.

12. Herbsteit is a douchebag. I used to think that he consistently put down the Buckeyes because he did

not want to look like a homer. He now goes out of his way to put down the whole Big 10, so I thought the same thing; he does not want to look like a homer to the national media. I now realize that the 4-letter has made a deal with the SEC and the 4-letter does commercials and licks the b*^^$ of the Hairdresser at USC. He's not a homer, he's a shill.
