Horned Frogs jump to Number 4 in USA Today!
I've been waiting to say that.

And Texas jumps to No. 2 in both AP & USA Today.

And what is great is that all 7 undefeateds are ranked 1 through 7 in USA Today. The way it should be.

But the AP is screwing Iowa.

1. We'll see how the BCS ranks them

The standings that matter.

These polls matter too because the BCS uses them.

Edited on Sun Nov-01-09 02:55 PM by JonLP24
has Iowa at #6 but they were #1 in computers last week so we'll see how that plays out. Whatever the hell the Harris Poll is had Iowa #8 last week so it will be interesting.

3. Looking like Tejas-Ala/Fla in the NC game.
If form holds true. I don't see the 'Horns being threatened. Or the Gators or Tide. Even IF the Hawks run the table (as a fan, I don't see that happening) a couple of undefeated teams may be out of the mix.

9. And number 2 in the computer-only rankings.
That doesn't change on someone's whim.
