Actually, I confess that I was shallowly responding to a female Boston fan abt the relative looks of the team (Womack excepting), not the skills of the infield!

But I don't put much stock in Gold Gloves - Jeter's defense has been pretty overrated since he came into the league. Most fielding stats show him being a rather miserable fielder right up until last year, when he rated about average.
