3. The best rivalry in baseball.
It's starting a bit early this year - I kinda wish the first game between the two teams wasn't on Opening Day, but at least it's not in Boston. :P

Two K's for the Big Ugly. \o/

17. Steroid boys aren't doing so bad tonight..
Giambi was 1/2 and I think got hit by a pitch twice.
Sheffield is only 1/4 but he scored and batted in a run.

And Wells BALKED in a run, I think.

16. Check the baseball group..
you'll find a few more of us there.

Plus, I must say, we've got quite the good-looking infield this year...

21. I'm not a fan of Womack, and our 1B situation seems a bit shaky...
But the left side of the infield does look pretty good now that Derek Jeter seems to have become at least a mediocre defender at last.

22. Didn't DJ win the Golden Glove last year???
Actually, I confess that I was shallowly responding to a female Boston fan abt the relative looks of the team (Womack excepting), not the skills of the infield!

24. Yeah, he did.
But I don't put much stock in Gold Gloves - Jeter's defense has been pretty overrated since he came into the league. Most fielding stats show him being a rather miserable fielder right up until last year, when he rated about average.

18. Uhm..maybe you meant to post the pic of A-Rod whacking at the
glove held by Arroyo?..A catcher wearing a mask and glove while taking a swing at an unarmed player well, SUCKS. ( I would've said he was a synonym of a cat, but I like cats too much.) Maybe he's just mad that Alex is prettier.

purrs,

PT

10. Only 24 more World Series Championships to go.........
for the Dead Sox to TIE the Yankees with most championships. :eyes: Yeah, the Yankees suck.

Let's see, if the Dead Sox won every World Series Championship between now and 2029, they'd TIE the Yanks. Wow, the Yanks suck SOOOOO much! :silly:

Get a life bean boy, you WISH the Dead Sox could "suck" like the Yankees. ;)

14. Each 41 years old
It's impressive enough for them both to just be around at that age, let alone effective enough to be Opening Day starters for last year's ALCS teams.

he's a very good pitcher but not as good as RJ. Plus, he's crazy.
I'm glad that we did not resign him.
