Renteria did more for the Giants in one game that he did in a whole year for Boston. :)

2. With 72 wins the Giants have now equaled their total of all of last year
Remember this season was supposed to be a success if they finished at .500.

Will they win the Wild Card?..Well, the odds are still against them, I'm wary of this upcoming road trip, the road has been their Achilles heel all year long, and the Rockies have the kind of schedule the Giants would kill for.

Whatever happens, I can't remember a season I've enjoyed so much..there's something magical about a team confounding the so called experts and achieving the unexpected.
