9. I would tend to agree with 1gobluedem, that he should have some idea
of the gun laws before he actually carries it, especially since it is pretty well known that New York City has some of the strictest gun laws in the country.
13. And if one is to read anything into Mr. Burress's incident
such people don't pay much mind to engaging the safety devices on their weapons or considering the consequences of discharging a firearm in a crowded area.
14. If he didn't have enogh sense to register the gun
it makes me wonder if he knew how to use it. He's actually lucky it didn't shoot somebody else or he'd be looking at a lot stiffer penalty. I'm sorry, but carrying a load gun is a BIG DEAL. Is it too much that those who feel inclined to do so look up the laws and also get themselves trained in how to use it (I'm guessing he didn't know how since it went off on him).
