Revised new rule! If you're going to start a new thread every time your team wins
Then you must start a thread every time they lose.

Let's call this rule the Cboy4 rule in honor of the late great Douchebag.

2. OK By Me
Someone show me ANY thread i started because the Cubs won. Nope that never happened. And, they're in contention and won the last two division championships.

But, winning A game in a 162 season is just something that happens.

So, i'm ok with adopting Trumad's rule.

4. It's just that boyton is so unused to the Giants winning
he gets a little excited and starts a thread when they do win. 55 years of futility will do that to a guy. He'll get over it.

5. Hey, We've Got >100 Years Of It
But, you don't see me starting threads every time the Cubs win. Geez, they've won more than 240 games since the beginning of 2007. You guys would be petitioning to have me tombstoned if i started a thread everytime they won a game! LOL!

6. Every single F'ing time...
I could maybe understand if they were former champs--- or maybe even the hapless Nat's who are on a nice streak...

7. One suggestion:
it's okay with me if winning scores only are posted in conjunction with some extraordinary endeavor -- hitting for the cycle, near no-hitters, high-scoring games -- that sort of thing. That qualifies as news above and beyond just the score.

9. Yeah--- for instance the Marlins swept the division leading Phils...
That is no worthy because it moves them 4 back....

BUT-- I'm not going to start a thread about it...

I was living in Napa in the eighties. I lived in the City in the mid-seventies.

14. Lived in SF Bay Area for over 25 years
San Francisco will always be #1 in my heart (the City not the team). I also hate the "Frisco" thing.

13. Oooh
that makes me feel really bad horse lover

Btw, your wish that I discontinue posting about Giants wins is going to go the way of the Dolphins chances of making the playoffs this year...

It ain't gonna happen

15. Hmmm . . .
Since Trumad is not a professional football player, and certainly not one for the Miami Dolphins, there is precious little he can do about whether the Dolphins make the playoffs or not. In fact, I'd venture to say that it is about as much as you or I can do to assist the good fortunes of the Forty-Niners.

So, let's get real. When our respective teams lose, the sky is still blue and the grass is still green. And it will stay that way unless climate change deniers win elections.
