1. That's a better list than most I've seen

They used some lesser known names from lower profile sports. Along those lines, I still think diving commentator Cynthia Potter is the best female sportscaster I've ever heard, instantly critiquing intricate twists and turns. She didn't seem quite as impressive as typical in the 2008 Olympics but her overall level for 20 years or so is astounding.

Otherwise, I agree Nichols doesn't belong. Edwards should be higher, and utilized more. Funny that Dottie Pepper is ranked first but she receives mixed reviews on golf message boards. Many prefer Judy Rankin to Pepper. Of course, those golf forums tend to dislike any golf announcer not named Feherty, even though Feherty is absurdly overrated.

Strange choice of photos on that link. It's the worst picture I've ever seen of Edwards, and I'm not sure it's Rachel Nichols at all.
