Poll question: It could happen: Most likely 1-16 upset? (Men's and women's)
Edited on Wed Mar-16-05 05:16 PM by ih8thegop
I had a dream that Oakland upset UNC 69-68 or something like that on a last-second three-pointer.

If the Red Sox can win the World Series, a #16 seed can beat a #1 in the NCAA tournament.

If it did happen in either tournament this year, who would beat whom?

I didn't know the NCAA allowed split squads.

;)

Er, does this mean that Duke gets a first round bye while the Huskies must play both games. Oh, the NCAAs are always giving Duke an easy bracket!

;)

:hi:

5. It'd be cool to see Oakland win........I wouldn't bet on it though

Dammit, I'll be rooting for it. That would be like one of the greatest upsets in sports history.

7. Oakland over UNC
fuggedagboutit.

After the ACC tourney, UNC is going to slice open both jugulars, break both kneecaps, and put a guy with a gun over the corpse before they put in the deep bench.

They're hungry. Roy is a motivator.

UNC to the Sweet Sixteen, at least.

8. That would be so damn funny though!
But I agree - Oakland will be lucky to lose by 30.
