Around the Horn college football predictions ---PAC 10
Well...hmmm....lets see....oh, I remember, USC will win again.

I like to call this conference the PAC 2, meaning, USC and whoever else is good that year.

The real question for the PAC 10 fans is will Washington or WSU go winless again leading up to the Apple Bowl?

1. DEVILS!!!

Probably won't happen as I have no idea who will be their QB. I thought Jack Elway would probably step up and be the starter but he apparently left football for good. :wtf:

Guess he didn't want to follow in his father's footsteps.

On edit: Pac-10 Teams were 5-0 in bowl games last year. They are not a bad conference.

7. Didn't say they were a bad conference, just skewed toward USC. I think you would agree.

2. Hopefully it will be
1. USC
2. and 3. Cal or Oregon, I enjoy watching them both.
4. the rest....except:
10. Stanford

That sounds good to me. Don't like Arizona St. They have some kind of hoo doo over the Trojans.

10. You don't like Stanford either?

Do you root for any teams in the Bay Area outside of the Sharks?

The Cardinal went 6-6 last year, 4-5 in conference. They have a veteran team coming back and 7 home games. Stanford is not going to challenge the top 3 but it seems to me a bowl game is not beyond the realm of possibility..picking them 10th is ridiculous. Maybe you got hold of some of Manny's special "diet" and it's messing with your mind.

4. Pete Carrol's last year. Easy.
Arizona could be a team on the rise. Oregon. New Coach?

6. USC, how boring. Cal, Arizona and Oregon to at least show up. Most boring conference in U.S.
Tired of it, except that USC gets beat every year when they should not. Why would a young kid go there? To be third string? They all do.

If USC doesn't win it all in the next two years - beating Florida - look for them to drop.

8. USC obviously to win
the only question is whether they'll go undefeated or not. Cal and Oregon to finish 2nd and 3rd.

I look for UW to surprise.. new head coach Steve Sarkisian, coming off 7 years at USC, the last 2 as OC, has brought not just his Trojan experience but a whole new attitude. Plus, QB Jake Locker is healthy again.

9. Wash is a tall order, Upton. No matter who the coach.
Improvement. Sure. How can you not. But to even reach an even record is a BIG goal. Not seeing it.

11. Considering they didn't win a game last year
when I say "surprise" I'm looking at 4 maybe 5 wins.

12. The Arizona schools, Upton.
U of A seems to be on the rise under Mike Stoops.

13. Maybe Arizona could threaten... but ASU

lost QB Rudy Carpenter to the NFL...and that's from a team that finished just above WSU and UW.

On Edit: Just remember what I said about UW, I have a feeling.
