Latin singing sensation Marc Anthony has kicked off another career -- he's become a partial owner of the Miami Dolphins football team.
The 40-year-old sports fan has struck a deal with real estate entrepreneur Stephen Ross -- who paid a reported $1 billion for 95 percent stake in the franchise in January -- to become a minority owner.
The singer, who is married to singer/actress Jennifer Lopez, did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement but is convinced his costly investment will be worthwhile, because he's already scoring points with wife Jennifer Lopez.
He tells People.com, "I'm a huge sports fan. These opportunities don't come around too often. It's quite an honor and a privilege to be able to sit here today saying that I'm a part-owner of an NFL team.
