who refuse to support their team, even though they never think twice about going on and on about world championships.

Certainly, the Giants could be drawing a little better, but filling 83 percent of the stadium on average every game is hardly anything to be ashamed of.

4. I would, but there aren't any A's fans here to mock.
The bottom line is Florida is still dead last, and the Marlins wouldn't be as close to Oakland as they are now had they not picked up about 100,000 recently thanks to the fortune of having the Yankees come to town.

5. Do you realize that if Florida finishes last this year
it will be for the fourth consecutive time? Think how disheartening that must be for the Marlins to play before such small crowds.

If the people of South Florida can't do any better than that, perhaps they don't deserve to have a MLB team.

..they will have the ALL TIME (beating Philidelphia A's) consecutive losing season record, which believe is 15 years.

Way to go Pittsburgh! Memo to Pittsburghers...stop attending all games and let the management know how you feel.

38. PLease, the Midgets draw at 83% WITH LINCECOM ON THE TEAM
The Marlins in the last five years have lost Willis and Beckett. Beckett is a painful lose considering the caliber of player to any team. It's not like they are well run. Even with that still have more rings since 96 than that Midgets.

Imagine waking up tomorrow and the Midgets trade Lincecom?

Yeah, I can imagine the 83% really showing up for that.

17. Now you wanna talk about the play on the field?
I<'ve already posted plenty of numbers that establishes Wright is the far superior player. His BBs and SBs pretty much establish him there. As does two Silver Sluggers and two gold gloves.[br />
Wanna know why Pablo didn't make the ASG? He's got a long ways to go before he is a player of Wrights caliber. He's not even close right now. It's not just Mets fans that recognize that fact but fans throughout the game.

Frisco doesn't have any fans.

30. We could always go over these numbers
David Wright

2005: HR-27..SO-113

2006: HR-26..SO-113

2007: HR-30..SO-115

2008: HR-33..SO-118

2009: HR-5..SO-87

Wright is heading for a career low in HRs and a career high in strikeouts. The only explanation..he's either on the downside of his career or he was juicing previously, it's probably a combination of both.

Give me Pablo anytime.

31. OBP trumps batting average. (Nice change of subject Mr 83%)
Wright OBP% .410

Pansey Panda OBP% .385

Wrights on base percentage is much better than the Pansey. The Pansey plays in a HR hitters park while Wright does not.

Even with the Reduction in power numbers Wright has scored more runs, 56-41, has more walks, 47-24 (Which BTW is really fucked up given that the Pansey is hitting for power, has more hits 106-102.

The Pansey has only 11 more RBIs right now than a guy who hasn't been batting fifth, sixth or third in the lineup.

Wright is still the superior player.

I should also mention Steals, ya know, production on the base paths? Wright 20 Pansey 4.

Wright has respectable numbers in all categories whereas Pansey does in about three.

Way to change the subject from attendance Mr 83%.

You lose this one as well.

LOSER!!!

36. That's what I thought
you refuse to address the issue because it's a loser for you. Another argument I win..though admittedly it wasn't hard when you take into account the superiority of Sandoval's numbers and the inferiority of my opponent.

David Wright, playing a traditional power position, is suffering from a shocking power outage this year. . And your whole argument consists of how many walks and SBs he has..well then, since he has the numbers of a lead off man, why don't the Mets bat the punk in that position?

37. That's why you can't get over the higher OBP, SB, BB, R by Wright
Just too painful for you to confront.

I don't care about strike outs when the guy is also drawing walks and has a high OBP%.

THe funny thing about this is that this is a DOWN YEAR for David Wright. Still, Sandoval only leads in about three categories. Even with the better power numbers Wright still has more runs scored.

Wright is also batting third in the lineup. Not a very big RBI spot there.

You might want to educate yourself on the game and how it's played.

39. What I want to know
is what happened to 30 HR 100 RBI David Wright? This year, at his current pace, he is projected to finish with 9 HR and 82 RBI, with a whopping 163 strikeouts.

The Mets are currently 20th in MLB in runs scored, with Beltran and Delgado out, Wright should be picking up the slack and driving in runs..that's what REAL All Stars do.

23. It true. Of course the people who don't know what they're talking about
will yell and scream that Dodger Stadium holds 56,000 people.

True.

But that's an advantage in this situation, because the sell outs help boost the overall average and capacity percentage.

The Giants aren't able to get a bunch of 56,000 crowds to jack up their figures.

They're capped out at 41,503 (plus a few hundred more who pay for standing room only).

33. And the Midgets sell 83% of capacity
and are outdrawn numbericly by a city with the smallest stadium in the league and a population of less than 500k

THE RED SOX!!!!

Also they are beaten numerically and percentage wise by a team that shares a markey with a team that has won more championships than any other in North American Pro Sports. Not to mention this very same team choked the last two seasons and hasn't had a Cy Young winner or a 20 game winner since 86. This same team has also never had a pitcher throw a no hitter in its entire history (A well known factoid in sports that even the Frisco announcer had no clue about till last week).

THE METS!!!!

Frisco has no fans.

No support.

No winning tradition.

If there is a team that should be moved to another city it's them. Not like that team has never moved before.

Obviously Frisco has no interest in supporting them.
