1. It's not like the Chokers just all of a sudden fell below .500 --
The news is they've fallen to a staggering four games under .500 and are now only a half a game behind Atlanta for fourth place!!

But forget that.

Are you finally going to be honest and admit that the Giants are not the terrible team you've repeatedly described them as?

Second best record in the NL.

They lead the wild card race.

And they have the best pitching staff in professional baseball. (3.53 compared to LA's 3.57)

They're also hitting 5th best in the NL.

Are you going to finally admit this is hardly a bad baseball team?

5. Again, Frisco fans have no right calling any other team in the sport "Chokers"
when they've outright sucked and have choked for 55 years. That's provided anyone even considered them good enough to begin with.

YAY!!!!! You lead the Wild Card in July.

What a thing to celebrate.

As usual, in Frisco, the bar for success is not set very high.

15. I've got a system worked out
where every time I think about it, I run over and vote 10 times...only takes a couple minutes. I've done that on 9 separate occasions so far today. According to my best calculations (which isn't necessarily saying much)I've voted for Pablo around 150 times over the last 2 days.

4. And that's why Sandoval can't swipe a bag or do a good job drawing walks
The stats don't lie.

Opposing pitchers don't like pitching to Wright. That's why he has more than twice as many walks (walks are just as good as a hit).

David Wright= STARTING NL ALL STAR THIRD BASEMEN.

Sandoval= Guy who can barely get in the game with a bunch of douchey Friscans stuffing the ballot box.

6. I see..
so the only thing your suddenly suspiciously weak hitting third baseman leads Panda in is walks and stolen bases.

You have a white Chone Figgins at third...

No power but he's got speed!!

7. Why kind of a name is name is "Panda" for your biggest home run threat anyways?
No wonder nobody wants to play in Frisco. Who wants to be stuck with such a pansy ass name like that?

BTW; "panda" may have gotten his GS yesterday but he went 1-4 for the night. Real great job there.

Keep telling yourself Wright can't hit for power. Last I checked "Panda" ain't even close to ever becoming a 30/30 guy in this league.

DAVID WRIGHT IS THE STARTING THRID BASEMEN FOR THE NL ALL STAR TEAM!!!!!!

Keep stuffin that ballot box.

Conspiracy nutter.

8. ESPN has their power rankings out
Giants are 9th...Mets 21st..I thought you'd be interested in the comment:

"David Wright has gone 5-for-40 (.125) and the Mets have scored a total of 25 runs in losing eight of their past 10 games."

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/powerranking

BTW, the weak hitting Wright is likely never to hit 30 HRs again now that he's gone off his special "diet" :eyes:

Conspiracy nutter.

At least he won't have to go through life with a nik as lame and as stupid as "Panda". May as well have that guy wear a skirt to the ballpark.

and he is presently kicking the weakling Wright's ass up and down MLB.

13. Yeah, that why Wright in five seasons is already putting together a hall of fame resume
4 time NL All Star Thrid Basemen

3rd NL All Star Start.

2 Time Gold Glove Third Basemen

2 time Silver Slugger

918 hits in in about five and half seasons. Well on his way to 3000 hits for his career.

4 straight 100 + RBI seasons.

Should I further eleborate on how "Panda" (Knowing where that nik came from makes it worse.) has miles to go before being considered in this guys league?

16. What I want to know
Edited on Tue Jul-07-09 07:20 PM by Upton
is what's happening THIS year. Why is Wright on his way to a career high in strikeouts and a career low in HRs?

Also, considering he currently has only 42 RBIs that run of 100+ is likely to end. Wright's power numbers have declined dramatically...the whole thing is extremely suspicious...Makes you wonder if any of Wright's previous numbers are legit.

You can also toss out any All Star selections..they are a result of East Coast bias and population density. If Pablo was playing in NY, having the kind of year he's having, he would have been voted in overwhelmingly as the starter.

I'm going to go punch in some more votes for the best third baseman in the NL...Pablo "Panda" Sandoval.

in the North East that just dying to see more Mets in ASG?

You're a conspiracy nutter. You find conspiracies in everything to justify your out whack and out sync views with reality.

East Coast Bias. That some of the dumbest shit I've ever heard.

Yeah, Wright is getting his third all star start because everyone prefers the way the Ocean Waves break on the east coast over the west coast.

Completely stupid.

19. *****Remind me again of how bad the NL West is!*****
Hey inthebrain, your chokers have not even won a single game against Los Angeles this season!

You lost all three in California and you were just absolutely humiliated in game #1 this evening.

I wanted the Dodgers to win tonight, but your team is so ridiculous, so horrid, such a disgrace, that one can't really do anything but laugh and laugh. :spray:

20. Yeah, well we beat the shit out of you
3 out of 4.

Your shit stain of a team has a hard team beating a team full of "chokers" as you would call it. Perhaps it was Frisco that choked provided you think that team is any good.

Remind me again why the Frisco suckasses lost three out of four to the Mets. Last I checked they were also hobbled in that series minus Reyes and Delgado playing a buch of AAA players.

21. I'm sure knowing you won three of four from the nine games over
500 Giants is a huge consolation to the fact the Mets have now dipped five games under .500 and are now in second to last place now behind Atlanta in the East.

Only Washington has a worst record!!

You must be guzzling the liquor.

You root for an awful, horrible, pitiful baseball team along with the worst hockey franchise in the NHL!

And you still like sports? Incredible!

And Mets fans really don't care.

Nobody here in the east gives a shit about beating the lousy Frisco small men.

That's something you don't get. You're not a national team. You don't register on anyone's radar.

Beating the Frisco Small Men is like putting your socks on in the morning.

23. Well wait a minute. If Mets fans don't care about beating the
5-time World Champion Giants, why do you pee yourself every time you talk about that four game series?

As bad as your franchise is, you should be thrilled beating teams from the St. James Smithtown Little League .. let alone the suddenly powerful and nine games over .500 San Francisco.

Your criteria is the club has to be a "national team"? LOL

You can't beat anybody.

Might wanna reevaluate things .. you know, like rejoicing when you beat Washington or Arizona.

No shit. No one is talking about them yet except their fans who are thrilled to even be in a chase this "late" in the season. It's funny shit. Here in Boston we worry about being in the hunt come October. In San Fran their panties get wet if they haven't collapsed by June. :D
