Rangers trade Gomez to Montreal for Higgins and prospects

Terrible deal on Montreal's end. How does one get taken to school by Sather like that?

The Rangers were pinched cap wise with not many options. The Canadiens are gonna lose Komisarik to Free Agency tomorrow and don't really have anyone to get their nose bloody on the roster. Gomez doesn't help much.
