TEAM............GP......AB......R.......H........2B........3B......HR......TB......RBI.....BA.....OBP....SLG....OPS

Colorado..........76......2552....389.....664.....149.....19......92......1127....371......260.....340.....442.....781
San Francisco..75......2539.....305.....663.....139.....15......51.......985....286......261.....313.....388.....700

Frisco does have a 1 percentage point better team batting average.

Now these kind of stats really mean something.

2. Here's what trumps it..
Team ERA

Giants .361 (tied for the ML lead)

Rockies .445 (a rather lackluster 21st)

4. The Giants don't need HRs
besides leading the Rockies in ERA, they lead in complete games (2nd in MLB), shutouts (#1 in MLB), strikeouts (#1 in MLB), runs allowed (#1 in MLB) and opposition BA (#2 in MLB).

In fact, if you go strictly by the numbers, the Giants have the best pitching staff in the majors...and as we all know, particularly you being a Rockies fan, PITCHING, not hitting, wins championships.

5. A whole 2 complete games?

We'll see if batting beats somewhat good pitching on July 24th - 26th.

8. Just stating the facts mad
and the numbers say the Giants have the best pitching staff in MLB...laugh all you want.

Oh, BTW the Giants, in Lincecum and Cain, have 2 out of the top 3 ERA leaders in the NL.

They won last year with a horrible pitching staff.

10. I don't know that Phillies fans would appreciate that

and it doesn't line up with the facts...Phillies PITCHER Cole Hamels was MVP of both the NLCS and WS.

And the Phillies were 6th in MLB in ERA..

It appears, the sudden downturn in the Chokers fortunes has affected your memory.
