I find religious history books fascinating. Recommend your favorites!

I just finished The Bible Unearthed: Archaeology's New Vision of Ancient Israel and the Origin of Its Sacred Texts and I am about a third of the way through Constantine's Sword: The Church and the Jews by James Carroll.
