1. I hope none of these people work in a bioengineering lab
or whatever you call those places that screw around with viruses and biological warfare. Scary.

6. This thread is cracking me up
"--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I went for a walk tonight with my wife and infant son. I thought to myself, if the rapture happens now, they'll find an empty stroller, a dog running around without an owner and two piles of clothes...

That will happen millions of times over the globe. Fires will start because of boiling pots. Animals will go unfed(PETA will be busy busting down doors) Cars will crash, planes will fall out of the sky. Empty houses everywhere(houseing prices will crash;) The economy will be shocked. The news will be full of people offereing all kinds of crazy explainations...the Rapture will be one of only dozens. Priests will show up on TV to reassure everyone that it wasn't the Rapture. "

9. If the Rapture comes while you're relieving yourself,
will you get to finish? Just wondering. Of course, I don't have to stress. I'll be left behind.

10. These people are sick
What part of Christianity gave them idea that they should joyously anticipate the suffering of animals?? (Their own pets, mind you, for whom you'd think they have some kind of feeling.) Note that I'm not surprised at their glee about human suffering; they think the unbelievers have it coming and they are salivating for their own reward.

13. Who you gonna call?
Venkman: This city is headed for a disaster of biblical proportions.
Mayor: What do you mean, "biblical"?
Ray: What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor, real wrath-of-God type stuff.
Venkman: Exactly.
Ray: Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies. Rivers and seas boiling.
Spengler: Forty years of darkness. Earthquakes, volcanoes...
Winston: The dead rising from the grave.
Venkman: Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together - mass hysteria.

http://www.rr-bb.com/showthread.php?t=273911

does anyone else seem to be experiencing more and more intense personal difficulty in their lives in the past couple of years??? i have never been through so much across the board "testing" in my entire life as i have beginning really around the year 2000...much worse since 2004...

Gee, I wonder why. Tell me, who stole the White House in 2000?

Verily, veritly I say unto you, this happened that the scriptures might be fulfilled - as it is written:

"...God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie." -II Thessalonians 2:11

18. Such wonderful examples of so-called Christian charity and kindness
After much discussion of the horrors which will unfold post-rapture:
Hmmm...I wonder if we will watch the earth's reaction to the Rapture from Heaven?

*grin*

You can easily imagine this guy imagining himself having a big ol' laugh while hanging out with his good buddy Jesus in Heaven, as they point and laugh while watching earthly miserly, shouting down at the suffering people left on Earth, "Looooooosers!"

Nasty, small-minded people who think they've picked the "winning team", and are damn smug about it.

22. It's ... The Attack of the Killer Raccoons!
Those raccoons did not feel threatened or cornered. They stalked and laid in wait for some of those poor victims.

Scientists have already documented and the media has been reporting that animals within the past few years have lost their fear of man. There used to be a natural fear instilled in animals due to the Genesis account of man having dominion over the animals. But they are losing that accountability and fear to man. This is also a disobedience to their Creator.

This is a just another sign of the Last Days........

23. The damn EU isn't with the program - what kind of Evil Empire are they?
Edited on Sun Sep-03-06 10:23 AM by muriel_volestrangler
"LAPPEENRANTA, Finland (AP) - Despite mounting U.S. pressure for sanctions against Iran, the European Union said Friday it is too early to punish Tehran for its failure to halt uranium enrichment by the U.N. Security Council's deadline.

The call for renewed diplomacy came as Iran's president vowed never to give up a nuclear program that he said is being misrepresented by the West."
...
I didn't think it was possible for me to have any less respect for the EU than I already did, but they have just proven me wrong. They are too wimpy to have any credibility.

It's amazing to me that the antichrist will actually be able to turn this limp-wristed organization into the most murderous dictatorship in all of human history.

http://www.rr-bb.com/showthread.php?t=274266

I mean, when's the EU going to get with the program? How dare they think about diplomacy rather than spreading death and destruction round the world? What "Babylon, the Universal Whore" is it that won't massacre and suppress the nations of the world? At this rate, the antichrist will have to rejig his schedule. And that has knock-on effects on other departments, people. You can't expect him to lead the world into sin and obscenity on his own, you know. Anyone would think the EU doesn't want to see Armegeddon and the End of the World. Bunch of backsliding evildoers, not meeting their quota - just as well that George Bush's Forces of Righteousness are taking up the slack with extra deaths, huh? If you want some evil done properly, looks like you have to do it yourself, these days ...

24. Bad news, this is response to some misguided hussy asking
about sex and marriage in heaven. Wow, 20 trillion years+ w/o sex!...

Matthew 22:24-30 speaks to the marriage question.

24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:

26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.

27 And last of all the woman died also.

28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
