If you love Christmas carols let me recommend an absolutely stellar CD.

You don't need to be religious to love this CD. Anyone who loves a cappella will be transported.

The CD is Yuletide Fires by the Montreal choral group Chor Leone renowned for their a cappella singing and electic programming which is evident on this CD which include Georgian chants, the absolutely mezmerizing and haunting Russian motets Dostoyno Yest and Svete Tihiy; the Appalachian carol As Joseph was a-Walking and traditional American carol Rise Up Shephard which I had never heard before but which now rates among my favorites. Their rendition of God Rest You Merry and the Huron Carol would be reason enough to get this CD.

The group also produced a Yulefires II which though nice doesn't come close to the first Yuletide Fires.

rock minded Christmas revelers. I also Like "Dig That crazy Christmas" by The Brian Setzer Orchestra.

I am one of those Christmas Crazy Atheists and I would love more recs for Christmas tunes.

I have all the usual Bing, Sinatra, Armstrong, Clooney compilations and some seasonal Baroque but I would love to add new music this year. One of my nieces just gave me "A Very She & Him Christmas" which was adorable as expected but I will add "Yuletide Fire" and the "Christmas with the Smithereens".

I hope more ideas will follow!!!

6. crooner Michael Buble has a new Christmas CD

It's kind of fun. He has a beautiful voice, and there's a nice mix of up-tempo and slow-sweet. Top-notch orchestra and sound, as is always the case with Buble. These aren't carols, just Christmas songs.

If there are children in the house, Burl Ives CD is still the king, IMO.
