The Impossibe Game
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gcw1YEtTQCw
You're out in the middle of nowhere. You're told the truth is out there, you just have to search for it. There's a bewildering number of signposts around you, each claiming to be the "right way."

You pick a direction, or more likely have it picked for you, and start walking...

1. I sorta think it is like this, although I could be wrong.
Edited on Thu Jun-23-11 05:01 PM by RandomThoughts
As soon as you find a direction to 'follow' you are not following the path.

Because the path includes you thinking and feeling, not being told what to do or where to go.

If it is true that people are suppose to think and feel, and be part of what they believe, and even learn and learn how to learn, then any following would be the wrong path.

That is the idea of many groups going the same direction.

Although I could be wrong. But it makes sense why not knowing for sure makes sense, and many people that 'follow a belief' also think and feel on why they believe as they do, not making them following, but being a part of what they believe.

I am due beer and travel money, and that has not arrived.

And him having the 'belief' of there not being any God, is another one of those paths he is walking down. And he even tries to explain why it is the path that makes sense to him.

Personally I don't think possible should be what defines something, and he also makes the assumption life ends at mortal death.

Although he is thinking about it, he should try thinking about it with the added concept of life after death, and there are many beliefs about that, there are some beliefs that say mortal death is the end.

Although he explains why he thinks as he does, specifically the presumption of life being about the mortal years a person has.

That can better be explained by the story of a bee, that when he stings, dies, yet he still does to protect the hive, making the larger community concept of society being about the good of the many over the good of the one. And the contradiction within the aethiest view of the unfairness of someone suffering for others, thereby for fairness or justice to exist there must be more after life.

So there is an attempt to get people to think existence is not just, nor compassionate, if a person was to think that the mortal is all that exists. You must think existence unjust and unfair, to only believe in mortal years.

10. Not really sure, although some abstract amount to correct the wrong of the smear
and the years it took to correct that, figure it is in the millions, but not sure of exact amount.

However moving to the that phase of the case is a good sign.

8. Yes, I do deny that my username is "LA con I see SA X"
I do so on the solid foundation of knowing what I chose and why.

9. I agree you choose to see it how you want to.
Do you agree others can choose to see it how they want to?

Or must people see it how you want them to?

I have no problem with how you see it, can I see it the way I choose?

11. It is what it is.
It isn't a matter of choosing how I want to see it, it's a matter of knowing what I chose. I chose "laconicsax," a combination of the words "laconic" and "sax." That's all there is to it.

If you want to see "LA con I see SA X," whatever that means, you're free to do so. Just keep in mind that "LA con I see SA X" is a pattern YOU are imposing on my username and has no bearing on what "laconicsax" is or means.

12. Are you not imposing an attempt to define who you are on me
Edited on Thu Jun-23-11 07:51 PM by RandomThoughts
By calling yourself that?

Is that who you are, or who you want me to see you as?

Should I see you by how you say you are? Why would you expect that?

13. No. I am merely relating facts.
Fact 1: My DU username is "laconicsax."
Fact 2: "laconicsax" is a combination of the words "laconic" and "sax" (short for "saxophone").
Fact 3: "LA con I see SA X" is a pattern you saw in "laconicsax" and is the product of your imagination.
Fact 4: Reality does not depend on your imagination.

While you are free to imagine whatever you like, you shouldn't be surprised when reality doesn't match your fantasy.

There was a recent post of Michelle Obama visiting South Africa, and I been posting about X many times.

And city of angels posts many times.

And posts about prisoners.

and about seeing, even if glimpses.

So whos idea really makes more sense your comment without correlating information or my comment?

So I think you are wrong on that, unless you would have something to sustain that it is about something else. Although I agree, it might not be about you.

15. You caught me--I chose "laconicsax" in 2002 because of Michelle Obama's visit to South Africa.
Los Angeles, convicts, eyesight, Michelle Obama's visit to South Africa, and the letter X are what I had in mind when I chose my username nine years ago. That really makes much more sense than it being a combination of the words "laconic" and "sax."
