Seems to be a rather broad definition of being marginalized. Some people vs how many practicing Catholics and Christians? Not to mention that not everyone who identifies as atheist isn't calling for silence of religion, most just want freedom of and from religion. The the 'some people' is a pretty small group.

I mean after all those centuries of abusing god's people -- and they never complained or even said a word like it was wrong or anything -- and who always took whatever The Church dished out to them like good little sheep -- oh, but now all of a sudden people are getting all uppity and putting on airs like their children are too good for our priests!
