anyone ever heard of this place?

my son leaves tomorrow for a 3 month mediation course at http://www.dhammasukha.org/index.html

he is going with a buddy whose mom has interrogated these people and decided they are good. (her kid is an only child, mine is 4th of 5. what a difference.)
curious if anyone knows anything about them.

1. I'm not heard of it but it sounds like a worderful place for a young person to go.

Actually no, I've never heard of it and I don't think it is particularly harmful, but I'm skeptical that there is much to be gained by this kind of total immersion stuff.

Did you mean meditation? Your post says "mediation".

3. the Dhamma Sukha Meditation Center

looks reasonable from its website. I have no personal experience with them but haven't yet met a meditation center I didn't like. There are 2 in Barnet, Vermont near my 'home' Best of wishes to your son.
