Someone says that the Democrats stood for the slavery of blacks,and then another person asks if there are christian Democrats.After this happens, one of the other members say that there once was a "southern/rural/conservative leg" of the Democratic party that was "not totally at odds with Christianity," and that it was taken over by the "radical left." Then the other members expand on this comment...

Now I'm not suggesting that Christianity is inherently racist, or is a racist religion,and I do agree that the Democratic party had some conservative and racist factions in the past, but don't Religious Fundamentalists sometimes contradict with each other in terms of factuality ?

1. When it comes to "Religious Fundamentalists"

The emphasis is on the "MENTAL" part. Especially the Rapture Ready crowd, which is only about a half-rung above the Fred Phelps cult on the sanity ladder.

Actually though, the term is a misnomer, because what these idiots believe and practice is pretty much the opposite of the fundamental teachings of Jesus Christ. Also true of the Muslim terrorists as opposed to what Mohammed actually wrote in the Quran. So they're really "anti-fundamentalists" when you think about it.
