Would nobody have recognized that the emperor in "The Emperor's New Clothes" was naked...
... if neither Adam nor Eve had eaten the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil?

2. so you are saying nakedness is evil or good?
Perhaps you need to reconsider the meaning behind the whole Adam and Eve story...

After all, in Genesis 3:7-13, God deduces that Adam has eaten the fruit of the tree from the fact that Adam is conscious of the fact that he was naked, and was ashamed of his condition. I refer in this context to the incomparable Fry & Laurie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiYhMyRJicc

So given that, without eaten the fruit, mankind would not be conscious of the fact that they were naked, it would follow that nobody in the empire would be aware of the fact that the emperor was naked, since everybody would have been naked, not being conscious of the existence of an alternative. Of course, we can wonder whether there would have been an empire had Adam and Eve not been cast out of Eden.

Genesis does seem to come down on the side of nudity being a Bad Thing, given that Adam states that he was ashamed of being naked, and God does not tell him that it's nothing to be ashamed of, but instead concludes that Adam possesses knowledge of good and evil.

4. Many questions in there
Is the Bible fiction?? If not is it literal?? If literal then there would not have been an emperor.

6. To crassly accuse the emperor of nakedness ignores a great many things.
To quote someone else, one who accuses the emperor of nakedness demonstrates a "lack of serious scholarship" and "has apparently not read the detailed discourses of Count Roderigo of Seville on the exquisite and exotic leathers of the Emperor's boots, nor does he give a moment's consideration to Bellini's masterwork, On the Luminescence of the Emperor's Feathered Hat. We have entire schools dedicated to writing learned treatises on the beauty of the Emperor's raiment, and every major newspaper runs a section dedicated to imperial fashion."

7. Given that the emperor was naked due to a con, ...

... and accepting the premise of the Adam and Eve story, then if neither Adam nor Eve had eaten the apple, the emperor wouldn't have been naked.
