Do you have a "fishie"??

Just a thought... Those of us here that are Christian could make a real statement if we put plastic "fishies" (you know the ones) on our cars... Right next to our anti-Bush bumper stickers!!! Dontcha think? Anyone doing it already?

I normally think of cars as cars first and christians second, so the fishies are usually proselytizers here in Texas, and rarely if ever Dems.

Your idea definitely has merit. My car is a pagan.

3. I took the fish off

when we bought our last used car. I'm thinking about making a bumper sticker that paraphrases the poet Kabir: The fish in the water is not thirsty. Only I don't think many around here would get it.

I pride myself on putting up bumperstickers that require thought (other than the DU one - which just mystifies them).

My car hasn't gotten keyed - because that would require somebody with a brain who can go look something up, and figure out on which side of the fence I sit (they never do). It works!

But they are right next to my Dem Donkey symbol. Of course with the animosity towards atheists I may be doing more harm than good.
