Olmsted Falls man indicted on charges of having sex with teen

A Cuyahoga County grand jury Tuesday indicted a 33-year old Olmsted Falls man on charges related to his sexual relationship with a teenager at his church.

Jeremy Workman was a youth pastor at Berea Baptist Church when he had sex with a 15-year-old girl, prosecutors said. The relationship continued for several years. The young woman, now 19, is pregnant with his child, police said.

Workman was charged with 15 counts, including unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and sexual battery. If convicted, he faces more than 70 years in prison, prosecutors said.

Workman is out on $250,000 bond.
