Happy Easter to all in western Christendom
Next month is the eastern Church's Easter.

At which time I will wish a joyous 'Pascha' (I believe that's the term) to all Eastern Churches

1. Yes, a 'Happy Easter' to all who are celebrating today!
The Eastern Orthodox will be celebrating the Feast of the Resurrection the end of April. I love when West and East falls on the same day; nonetheless, I have great gladness in my spirit for you all!
May I say, 'A Most Blessed and Joyous Pascha' to you!

4. Wait....
If it's the single most important day in human history, why is there a disagreement over the exact date? Shouldn't the people that were there know? People were supposedly present at this the greatest of all miracles. How is it possible that there could be any doubt at all when this occurred?

5. Modern Easter co-encides with Pagan fertility rituals
One of many times of the year the Catholic Church adapted formerly pagan rituals into its own to attract followers.

6. So they do know the exact date, they're just lying about it?
Mind you, I wouldn't put it past them. I have always found it fascinating to watch at what times dogma was more important than followers, and followers more important than dogma (and who it was that was making the decisions based on those policies.)
