So, how's your resurrection going?
Yeah, it's not just about Jesus' resurrection,
it's about ours. Are you feeling renewed or exhausted,
a believer that empire can be overcome, that truth
and love are the way? Are you fighting for the least
of us, for those who have no voice? Are you exposing
the liars for who they are and where their interests
lay?
Do you believe in the activist Jesus who laid his
body down for a future of hope, love and resurrection
for all our lives? Do you believe in a man who
spoke against the occupation of the empire...
Fear paralyzes. Get walking. Spread the message.

2. Mind-killer
I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

3. Fear and love
It is a fascinating historical fact, that Jesus' role as the sacrificicial lamb and Mahayana boddhisatva ideal (including taking all the suffering of fellow sentien beings on ones shoulders and changing places) developed the same historical time.

At the same time the promise of Pure Land (cf. Christian idea about Heaven) where clensing of Karma would take no effort was promised by a certain Buddha-mind, whose name I forgot.

But really it is our task to make our best effort in this life, on this level of existance. Starting from practicing loving kindness to ourselves and thence to all sentient beings and the whole universe.

I don't believe anything, but I know I'm at the very beginning of this Path of Heart, Wisdom and Compassion, behind all or most others. But I feel the tingling at my soles... :)
