My memorabilia auction for Andy.
Edited on Sat May-07-05 01:11 PM by brook
I want to auction my working script from "The Lost Boys" dated May 19, 1986. Minimum bid: $25.00.

Also: Invitation to the cast and crew screening of Maverick (features Color picture of James Garner, Jody Foster and Mel Gibson).

And: a 1980 manuscript of Truman Capote's novella: Sculptured Coffins.

Lastly: A mounted poster for "McCabe and Mrs. Miller".(C. 1970) This has the original title: The Presbyterian Church Wager and looks like an old-fashioned advert for a 'Medicine Show'.

Never the sentimental type, I spent many years in the entertainment business - these are a few things I held on to - and I can't think of a good reason not to part with them now.

edited 'cause I mispelled "McCabe". Sorry, Warren. :banghead:

1. I have a question for you . . .
Did you ever, for a short period of time, work for African Percussion in Topanga Canyon?

Just curious :)

9. Okay, because I worked for them and we had a guy that worked for us
for a week or two and then vanished who had been in Lost Boys :)

13. I honestly don't remember :)
I just remember that my boss was cool enough to give him a two week advance to help him get started, and the guy only worked for about a week and a half then left without ever contacting us again :)>

That was back in '96 or so.

14. Oh.
I thought it could have been one of the 'surf nazis' who did end up in jail. They had to send him down to LA for some retakes, accompanied by a police officer.

4. Correction: Handcarved Coffins!
Edited on Sat May-07-05 01:25 PM by brook
That's what I get for being half-asleep! That is the correct title. It's hand typed, Not signed. It's in a maroon leatherette binder.

12. I'd guess...
it ought to be worth at least 50 bucks to someone - if for no other reason that Andy needs the money.

Final edit? Who knows? It was slated for publication within a couple of months of the date on it.

Got it in the mail in the course of business.

5. Adding:
"Going Places" script with production schedule and call sheet.
This was a 'sit com' starring Heather Locklear, Alan Ruck,Holland Taylor, Staci Keanan, Jerry Levine and Hallie Todd.

My most 'memorable moment' on this show: I was accidentally locked in the bathroom with Tommy Lee (they had to take the door off the hinges to get us out).

6. Look what I found!
Birth announcement:

Bridget Jane Fonda! 1/27/64 Engraved. Pink ribbon trim.

Yeah. I used to hang with her Mom and Dad. Sundays. Motorcycles on Mullholland.

Not something you'll find elsewhere. C'mon - for Andy - make a bid!
We gotta do this, guys. Monday's too damned close!

8. I'd suggest putting the stuff on Ebay
let everyone bid on it. Who knows maybe so repub could help Andy without knowing it.

If you need help, let me know. I think there is a real expert here on the board, who may be better, but I could help in a pinch.

11. I have no idea...
how to do that. I once considered E-bay because I need to get rid of some things and pay some of my own medical bills - but I don't have the time or temperament for it, I'm afraid.(I work two jobs and tread water).

I'd be willing to have some kind soul do it with these items if it'll get some money for Andy. Time is short and we've got some 14,000 to go!

PM me if you like.
