Has anybody been watching the PBS Mystery - Sherlock?
Am I correct in thinking there are only four episodes?

And, I just watched one that ended with a cliffhanger (I'm THINKING it's the last of the 4 episodes) -- will it be back?

I really enjoyed it a LOT, although I had to keep rewinding to understand what they were saying (and then I'd turn up the volume like that would help :eyes:)

Thanks for any info on this.

8. The latest!
Sherlock in contemporary London. They really did an outstanding job in honoring the traditional but truly making him totally 'today'. Highly recommend! You can watch it on pbs.org for a period of time if you're interested.

2. Looks like there are only 3
according to the BBC site for Sherlock.

I'm hoping that was a trial run and we'll be treated to more -- I've really enjoyed this programme (as they say in the UK).

9. I saw that when I went to shoppbs.org :-). I had just finished watching and
couldn't BEAR the thought of not seeing it again, so had to see if they offered it for sale. Someone else posted here that it was well received and there will be more!

3. I think there were only 3 episodes.
I've heard the it was very popular in Britain, and that there are more episodes planned.

10. Oh, good! I couldn't believe they'd end it like they did without plans for
more, but you never know. Did you watch it? Like it?

4. Yes. I LOVE it, which really surprised me
But I thought there were only three episodes.

They won't be back again until next fall, so we'll have to hang on the cliff until then.

Cumberbatch is a most excellent Sherlock!

7. Isn't he though? Unique and very talented! He (and the writers) have successfully
made him the perfect contemporary Sherlock!

5. YES! I love it
Didn't know there might be only four episodes. Hope it returns, but because I recognize the actors from many quality BBCA programs, I suspect they are already booked for other major projects.

11. I've learned there were only three (DUers are the BEST for info!). Have you seen
the actor who plays Sherlock in other shows? I thought he was exceptional.

I seem to recognize Dr. Watson.

I'm going to start watching more British shows, they're so well done. :hi:

6. You guys are right -- only 3 episodes (as I learned when I went to shoppbs.org) -
I'll never believe my brother again! :7

I'm glad to hear they're planning more - and glad that other DUers are enjoying it as well! :hi:

13. There are more episodes next year.
Thank goodness. My friend actually screamed when it ended on a cliff hanger. I really like this version of Sherlock. Dr. Watson is great.

14. Thanks for the info about watching it online.
We love Martin Freeman (BCC's The Office, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Love Actually...) and can't wait to see him!
