For every ONE nasty insult and ignorant remark about Michael Jackson, remember
...there are probably THOUSANDS who KNOW THE FACTS and feel otherwise. (regardless what the media/tabloids/medialoids say)

When I see one of these nasty comments, I am reminded that, even though there are ignorant medialoid junkie haters everywhere, Michael was and still is LOVED by MILLIONS WORLDWIDE and in turn he loved them back equally, if not more - and there's not much you can do about that now.

“If a man could say nothing against a character but what he can prove, history could not be written.” -Michael Jackson

EVAN and JORDIE Chandler were not victims. MICHAEL JACKSON was the victim. If Michael's fans were after poor poor Evan :sarcasm: such that he had to hide from them and the World - well, then he brought their anger upon himself. That's what he gets for extortion. That's what he gets for LYING and making his son LIE - for destroying the life of an innocent man in order to get MONEY so that he'd be set for life. I hope he enjoyed it. I bet he was a Republican.

Between truth & justice - or ignorance, I choose the former. Good Day.

17. Your insult is uncalled for. There is nothing wrong with being a super fan of something or
someone, and Triana keeps the MJ posts in the Entertainment forum, where they belong.

2. Please. You're making those of us who don't really care to hate him.
It's time to let it go already.

4. um...ok.
I won't say anything bad to you about MJ
but I do think you need to achieve some balance in your own life. Even if he were the best musical artist of all time (which I'm sure you must think so), completely worshipping him doesn't accomplish anything.

I mean, I personally think Paul Simon is a pop genius, possibly one of the most talented songwriters/poets of his genre and time.

But honestly, I don't think he's a god or anything.

how old are you? maybe you should redirect the rest of your life towards living your own life.

6. I would say there is a few dozen people who know the facts.
I guess I really have to wonder about this kind of defensiveness concerning one specific professional entertainer. Even if you are right and he is somehow innocent, not only of harming those two children, but dozens of others, who cares? And why is it so hard to believe that a man who lives at an amusement park might be a pedophile? They do exist you know.

18. Triana, you do good work on here.
I remember a thread you made awhile back wondering how a place like Democratic Underground, which is supposed to uphold the ideals of the progressive/liberal movement, delights so much in condemning Michael Jackson, a textbook example of those ideals.

It was the 1993 Michael Jackson case that taught me most of all how not to trust the media. What happened to him then & later on in 2003 showed just how easy it is for media to manipulate people even those who think themselves not susceptible those manipulations.

Bill O'Reilly came from those TV tabloids that operated a public witch hunt live before the world ensuring that his chances were slim for getting a fair jury. It could very well have been The Diane Diamond Factor on Fox News if she played her connections right.

There has NEVER really been a golden age of responsible media. It has always been about sensationalism & ratings. Yellow journalism. But what you saw from those tabloids who delighted in that unchecked character assassination led to the media we have today.
They merged with the "respectable" media outlets way back then & now people wonder why the so-called fourth estate does little to properly inform the public about what's going on. All this in-house punditry that stands in place of critical thought.

The OJ Case of 1994-1995 was what the media wanted for Michael Jackson in 1993-1994. They didn't get it & when the OJ thing hit it gave them the opportunity to use all those pent-up campaigns reserved for Michael. OJ gave the media the release they couldn't get from Michael Jackson.
After that & the ratings for that tabloid & "respectable" media merged forever.

Michael was simply a kind human being using his power & wealth to benefit another. He didn't just give at the office or do a little photo-op. He really cared about these people & gave of his time. But in this world kindness is taken for weakness. Michael could've been like most other people who find themselves in wealth & not have given a damn about nobody but himself. But he just wasn't raised that way. I don't think he would have been comfortable being the world's richest man.

I have NEVER heard of anybody who built beds into his personal theater just to entertain bed-ridden kids & put a smile on their face. I have NEVER heard of anybody opening up their home for others in the way Michael did. Nothing was fake about his concern for children.
I see those overgrown homes for the rich & see it as waste quite honestly. You can't live in that much house. Mansions were made for whole families over generations to stay in. They use up a lot of resources & take up a lot of space that could be used otherwise.

But the way Michael Jackson operated Neverland I felt better about his excess. That place just wasn't for himself. While it was his personal sanctuary it was also a place for escapism. Kids who lived in California but never saw the beaches in their entire life, sick kids, adults who needed a respite from the jaded world on the outside to reconnect with what matters.

Michael used his wealth in an obviously positive way. The charities that he was documented of giving to are not even half of his true philanthropic efforts. The dude went above & beyond in everything he did. And that's why he became The Greatest.

All this only to be taken advantage of by a few greedy individuals?? And he STILL didn't stop doing good things for others? And people STILL want to condemn him under the false label of "pedophile"???

No one who knows the facts about Michael Jackson would ever THINK to call him a "pedophile".
And this is why True Change will never happen. The ones who go out on that limb are never supported by those who proclaim they are for that change.

If you had a few more Michael Jacksons in the world, you wouldn't have to worry about this inherent corruption that keeps the Progressive Movement at a standstill.

21. What a wonderful post!
Thank you. A lot of people don't realize that when he lived in the Encino home with his parents, he invited sick kids there too. It was always in his heart to help people especially children. To heal the world somehow.
